This is because Connect2Court has a direct API data connection with Atlanta Magistrate Court systems including Fulton, Dekalb, Clayton, Gwinnett, Forsyth, Rockdale, and Chatham. What does that mean for you? Zero delay in filing dispossessories, writs, judgments, dismissals, garnishments, and more.
Once the court has processed your dispossessory filing, you will receive an email notification including all case documents and your Connect2Court process server will instantly receive copies for service. You will receive a copy of the affidavit of service via email when it is signed and filed by your Connect2Court process server.
Writ of Possession
Once the case has passed the 7 day answer period, you will receive an email notification with instructions and a link to check for your tenant's answer. If you are eligible to move forward with applying for a Writ of Possession, you can click through to file a Writ with Connect2Court. These are filed through the same court API connection as our dispossessories, so your Writ Application is sent to the court immediately when you click Submit.
When your Writ of Possession is granted by the Court, our system is notified and Connect2Court wastes no time in reaching out to the county Sheriff/Marshal to schedule your eviction put-out. We will also arrange for eviction labor to meet the Sheriff/Marshal on the day of the eviction. You will be kept in the loop with email notifications each step of the way!
